The house is not in its authentic condition, but this art-deco house from 1930s in Brighton, East Sussex is still undoubtedly a magnificent place.
The house was built in 1939 and the owner said that the place was extended not so long ago. The extension of the house has a function as an adjoining property. That extension has been made with the spirit to keeping the appearance of the original house.
The exterior with bold white color is complemented the interior part which is fairly modern. As you can guess, the fireplace was recently built, but obviously built with the spirit of ‘deco’ style.
As for the house’s layout, there’s a ground floor that is split-level that contain one fireplace, one open-plan breakfast/kitchen room along with art-deco window. The floor steps up into an extra seating zone with French doors that lead into the garden. This room has access towards the study area and has stairs that lead to the garage.
Still at this very floor, the stairs bring you to the floor’s upper level, with four bedrooms, one of them has view towards the garden. Also this level contains the family bathroom that has double shower.
The primary stairway brings you towards the house’s first floor. The floor has a reception room, that has access towards the house’s east side and it faces the roof balcony at the forefront of the house.
The stairs then bring you into the upper side of the first floor next to a quite large store room. This area consists of the main bedroom that is facing west towards the Juliet balcony, one adjoining bathroom as well as a dressing room.
Other things worth mentioned is a garden that is facing west structured over several levels with a terrace, a seating area, as well as a playing area for the children. If you are interested to purchase this art-deco styled house, the price is open at £750,000.
